Work Experiance

We started our work experience on the 23rd of September 2014. My work placement is in a solicitors office in Dublin City Center. On my first day i was greeted by my supervisor. I was then shown around the office and given things to do for the day such as photocopying, sticking stamps on letters and posting letters. I find my work placement a bit boring but I hope it will get  a bit better as I might be going into court on some days.

Carlingford

We went to Carlingford on the 15th and 16th of September. Carlingford is an adventure center in county Louth. We left the Esso station in Celbridge at 7AM on Monday morning. We got to Carlingford at about 9AM and we were brought straight into the courtyard of the adventure center. In the courtyard we met the instructors and were told about our daily schedules for the next two days. we then went to our rooms and got changed into our water sport clothes and left to go down to the beach. when we got down to the beach we went kayaking which was loads of fun. we then returned to the adventure center for lunch and afterwards went to a place where we did activities in groups which required teamwork and communication, we then had dinner and that night went up to the forest to do nightline which was an activity where you had to follow a rope around the forest while you were blindfolded. we stayed up all that night as there were 12 in our room and nobody would be quiet. the next day we got up and had to pack all of our bags. our room was a state because all of our clothes were everywhere. we then went back down to the beach and went canoeing, we canoed out to sea and went over to a trampoline in the middle of the sea. we got to climb up onto the trampoline and jump off into the sea. afterwards, we went and got lunch and were then brought back up to the forest to do lazer combat. Lazer combat was my favorite activity. we then returned to the activity center and got our bus back home. i really enjoyed Carlingford and would love to go back again.

My first week in TY

It has been my first week in TY and i really like it so far. So far we have done 3 workshops; positive parties, first aid and etiquette. our Junior Cert results are out on the 10th of September and i honestly don't care there is nothing i can do about it now i cant change it so why worry !!!! :))) :)))) :))))
